- However, you should provide the direction NBT tag unless you want the command to not work:
/summon fireball ~~ 1 ~ {direction: [0.0,0.0,0.0]}
Keep in mind that pos is needed. If you feel strange about it, it is the x y z coordinate where the fireball should spawn. As for NBT, it refers to the compound NBT tag that sets a property for the fireball such as {ExplosionPower:4}. The term used to be called a data tag.

How do you enter the command? First of all, open the chat window. Using the chat window is the easiest method to run commands.
