A potion refers to a kind of consumable or throwable item which is able to give a player status effects. There are a few kinds of potions and most are able to be made out of a variety of materials. It is able to be brewed in a thing called a brewing stand.

The major starter ingredients to potions includes Nether Wart, which is able to be found commonly in Nether Fortresses and Bastion Remnants. Actually, potions are able to be started with the other ingredients but it is easier to use Nether Wart first.

  • Gunpower
  • Dragon Breath

  1. Poison (0:45)

This one is not able to be brewed. Besides, it is also exclusive to Java Edition and Legacy Consoles Edition.
