Valorant battle pass allows the players to progress through tiers and obtain certain items including the player cards, weapon charms, players titles, sprays and weapon skins. The Radiamite points that the players earn through the Battle Pass can be used to develop certain weapon skins and other content types in the game.
In Valorant, there are two Episodes where each episode includes three Acts. Episode 1 named Ignition includes 3 acts introducing Ascent, Reyna, Killjoy and Icebox, Skye. Episode 2 named Formation includes 3 acts introducing Yoru, Astra and Breeze. For each Act, you will get a new Battle Pass. An Act ends along with its associated Battle Pass for about every two months.

How Does the Valorant Battle Pass Work Per Tier?
The Act 1 Valorant Battle Pass has 50 tiers which is open for a limited time with a free and premium path. The Battle Pass is free and available for every player who logs in during its duration. This opportunity will be active alongside your selected character contract. Moreover, they will progress simultaneously based on the XP you obtain from missions and matches.
The Valorant Battle Pass is divided into 10 Chapters in which each chapter contains 5 premium tiers and rewards a free Chapter completion reward when unlocked. In this case, a chapter is completed when all 5 premium tiers have been unlocked with XP. After completing, you will get the Free Chapter Completion Rewards and move on to the Next Chapter.
You can then progress through all 10 Chapters without going Premium. Unfortunately, you will not unlock the 5 items within the Premium tiers. It means that you can always go premium and retroactively unlock the rewards you obtained while on the free path.
